Thomas Holding Limited has developed a reputation for excellence
in the construction, restoration and maintenance of residential,
commercial and municipal property.
Our expertise and attention to detail show through in the quality
of our work, whether undertaking projects for clients or our own
speculative developments.
Established in Cheltenham in 1986, we are experienced in all types
of building works, from residential Cotswold Barn conversions, New
houses, Flat conversions and Office buildings in all aspects of
renovation, restoration, conservation, roofing and stonework.
We have also successfully completed many contracts for local authorities,
which have included the building and renovation of schools, public
monuments and municipal buildings and all three phases of the recent
Civic-Award winning restoration and building projects to Christchurch,
in Cheltenham.
Recent projects have included conservation works to historic buildings
in sensitive locations, including the conversion into living accommodation
of Manor Barn, Temple Guiting, The Clipping
Barn and three other barn conversions at Bidfield Farm, near
Birdlip, Arlington
Barn at Ablington, and the conversion of barn and stables at
Edgeworth near Stroud, all under contracts for clients.
Other
works have included the extensive remedial, restoration and conversion
into six luxury flats at 102, London Road, Cheltenham (Civic Award
winner); the renovation of an historic four-storey town house in
Tewkesbury; the conversion of a large Victorian house into six flats
in Pittville, Cheltenham; a meeting room and reception extension
at St John's Church, Churchdown; the Abbeyfield Community Centre
at Winchcombe; upgrading and converting a large town house in St
George's Road, Cheltenham into two and three bedroom flats with
the construction of two new town houses on the same site, all under
contract.
Our own developments have included the recently completed development
of five three-storey town
houses at Ryeworth Road in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham; a prestigious
detached house on Cleeve Hill
involving the demolition of a derelict property and major groundwork
re-enforcement, and the new construction in Tewkesbury of two sympathetic
waterside properties.
